Investigate UT regent who gums up work
In Gov. Rick Perry’s ongoing guerrilla campaign to oust UT-Austin President William C. Powers, his most zealous commando is University of Texas System Regent Wallace L. Hall Jr., a Dallas banker whose incessant and sweeping requests for documents from the university have riled Texas lawmakers. Hall’s outsized zeal has prompted charges of witch hunts and, now, surprisingly, an impeachment investigation.
The investigation, we believe, is warranted.
