Kristi Gaither and Josh Hinojosa were united in marriage at 4:00 pm on June 8, 2013, at the Overton in Lubbock. Matt McGinnis officiated the ceremony. Kali Gaither, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Randy Soto, friend of the groom of Idalou, served as Best Man. Kristi is the daughter of Janice and Tom Gaither and Josh is the son of Alice and Gene Kerr, all of Lubbock. The bride, a history major, graduated from Texas Tech in 2012. She is employed by Frenship High. The groom graduated from South Plains Fire Academy in 2007. He is employed by the Lubbock Fire Department.
