The Lubbock Economic Development Alliance on Monday, June 17, will announce 167 new jobs in the Lubbock community with the expansion of two local businesses and relocation of one new business.
These companies will invest more than $3.75 million in new capital improvements and jobs created from their projects are expected to provide more than $7 million in new, annual salaries, said Alyssa Kitten, communications coordinator for the alliance.
Once fully operational, the expansions are expected to add about $19.1 million annually to Lubbock County’s gross regional product.
